Paneer Bhurji

One of my Paneer favorite……

Paneer Bhurji

Ingredients:

100 gm Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
1 Medium sized onion
1 Medium sized Tomato
1/2 Medium sized Capsicum
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
3 tbsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
2 tsp Coriander powder
11/2 tsp Red Chili powder
1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
1/8 tsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste
Coriander for Garnishing

Method:

Cut paneer into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pan, fry the paneer pieces and keep it aside. In the same pan with remaining ghee, add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and saute. Add chopped onion and fry till it becomes golden, then add chopped (almost 1-2 cm size) capsicum and saute for a minute. Now add chopped tomatoes and all the spices except garam masala and cook for 3-4 minutes on low medium flame/heat. Crumble the fried paneer and add it in the pan. Mix all these items well. Lastly add garam masala powder and mix again. Put off the gas. Your dish is ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it hot.
