Enjoy winters with all time favourite “Tomato Soup”……..

Tomato Soup

Ingredients:

6-7 medium sized Tomatoes
2 cloves of Garlic
2 tsp Butter
1/4 tsp of Garam Masala powder
1/8 tsp of Sea Salt
1/8 tsp Black pepper powder
2 tsp Sugar
Salt to taste

Method:

Wash and cut the tomatoes. In a pressure cooker, add tomato, garlic and 1 cup water. Boil and wait for 3-4 whistles. Once pressure cooker cools down, blend boiled tomatoes in a blender. Push this through a sieve and then put liquid in a thick bottom pan, add butter and all other ingredients except sugar. Boil this for at least 10-15 minutes on low to medium heat and then add sugar. Boil again for 2-3 minutes more, the soup is ready but if someone wants very thick soup, then boil it for some more time. Garnish (not mandatory) with a tsp of fresh cream or coriander leaf and serve it hot.
