Dahi Ke Kabab

Dahi ke kabab is a melt in mouth snack. These are so delicate to cook. This is a Jain (no onion-garlic) recipe. It is ideal as a party snack or can be a starter option. This kabab recipe has minimum ingredients and is quite easy to make.


1 cup Hung curd/ Labneh
2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
½ tsp Red chili powder
½ tsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Chopped Coriander
½ tbsp Chopped Green chili
Oil for shallow frying


Dry roast gram flour in a pan on low flame till it is golden in colour and little fragrant. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. Wet hands with the water, take 2 tbsp of mixture in hands and give shape of a cutlet. Make all the cutlets/tikki from the kabab mixture and keep it aside.

Heat a non-stick pan on a medium flame and shallow fry all the tikkis using little oil, until both the sides are golden brown in color. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with Green chutney.
