Paneer Pakoda


200 gm Fresh Paneer
1 cup Gram Flour
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Raw mango (Amchur) powder
1/4 tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain)
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Chaat Masala for sprinkle


Put all ingredients except Paneer in a bowl. Mix it well with 1 tsp hot oil and little water (approx 1-2 tbsp) to make a thick flowing batter. Cut Paneer into any shape you like. Sprinkle little salt, red chili powder and keep aside for few minutes. Dip each Paneer piece into the gram flour batter and pour in the hot oil. Deep fry it on medium flame. Drain pakoda on a paper towel and sprinkle some chaat masala. Serve hot with Green chutney, Khajur-Imli chutney or Tomato Ketchup.
