Moong Sprouts Masala


1 cup Moong bean sprouts
1 small Onion
1 small tomato
2 tbsp chopped Red bell pepper
2 tbsp chopped Green bell pepper
2 tsp Olive oil
½ tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp chopped green chili
¼ tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Lemon juice
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
½ tsp Red chili powder
Salt to taste
Coriander for Garnishing


Add 3 cup water in a pan and boil moong sprouts for 10 min on low-medium flame (with covered lid). Remove excess water and keep it aside.

Heat oil in another pan and add cumin seeds. Add finely chopped onion and sauté, add ginger paste and sauté. Now add finely chopped bell peppers and sauté for a minute on low flame. Now add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes on low flame and then add boiled sprouts. Mix well and turn off the flame. Add lemon juice and can garnish with chopped Coriander.
