Mirchi Fry

Ingredients:

4-5 Medium sized green chilies
2 tsp Oil
½ tsp Cumin seeds
½ tsp Mustard seeds
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
Pinch of Asafoetida
Salt to taste
1 tsp Lemon Juice

Method:

Wash green chilies and dry them. Trim the green chilies from the top end and make a slit on one side without cutting through. Cut them into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida and mustard seeds. When it starts crackling add cumin seeds. Sauté and add green chilies. Saute for 2-3 minutes on low flame and add turmeric powder, salt. Sauté and add lemon juice. Lastly sauté for half a minute more and your dish is ready. Switch off the flame.
