Gond Ke Laddoo

Winter special….

Ingredients:

3 cup Wheat flour
400 gm Ghee
1½ cup Crushed Almonds
1½ cup Grated Coconut
½ Dry Ginger Powder
1½ cup Powdered Sugar
100 gm Powdered Edible Gum (Gond)
10-12 Cardamom
Few strands of Saffron

Method:

In a bowl, mix crushed almonds, grated coconut, ginger powder, powdered sugar, saffron and cardamom powder. Add ghee, wheat flour in a pan and roast on a low flame/heat for almost 20-25 minutes (until it becomes reddish in colour). Now add powdered edible gum and mix well. In sometime, edible gum will become like puff. Switch off the flame and add almond coconut mixture. Mix all the ingredients well and make laddoos before it cools down. Once the laddoos are of room temperature, store in air tight container for 15-20 days.

Note: Above recipe is for serving size of 30 laddoos.
