Onion Bhajia


2 medium sized onions
1/2 cup Gram Flour
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Raw mango (Amchur) powder
1/4 tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain)
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying


Heat oil in a pan. Cut onion into half and make slices. Put all other ingredients in a bowl and add onion slices. Mix it well and then add 1 tsp hot oil, little water (approx 1-2 tbsp) and make a tight batter (flowing consistency not required). Take almost one tbsp onion mixture for making one piece of Bhajia and deep fry it on medium flame. Serve it hot.
