Vegetable Grilled Sandwich

Ingredients:

4 Bread slices
8 slices of Tomato
8 slices of Cucumber
8 slices of Onion
2 Cheese Slices
2 tbsp Butter
1tsp Chaat Masala
Pinch of Black pepper
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
2 tbsp Green chutney (Mint Coriander Chutney)

Method:

Season the cucumber, tomato and onion slices with black pepper and salt. Butter all the bread slices from one side. On the same side of 2 bread slices spread tomato sauce and on other 2 bread slices spread green chutney. Place 3 to 4 cucumber, tomato and onion slices on 2 of the bread slices and sprinkle chaat masala powder. Place 1 cheese slice on each of them and then cover it with the remaining bread slices.

Spread butter on the top slice. In a pre-heated grill pan, place the sandwich carefully with the buttered side facing at the bottom. Then butter the top slice and after 2-3 minutes when one side is grilled turn it upside down. Grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes or till it appears crispy and golden on both the sides. If someone is using grill sandwich maker then spread butter on both sides on sandwich and place it in sandwich maker as there’ll not be need to turn it upside down and both the sides will be grilled at same time.

Serve the hot vegetable grill sandwich with tomato ketchup or any other chutney of your choice.
