Fast consuming yummy snack……. Namkeen Sev 🙂
1/4 cup Oil
1/2 cup Water
1 1/8 cup Gram Flour
2 tsp Red chili powder
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Sieve the gram flour in a bowl, add salt and red chili powder. In another bowl, whisk well the water and oil. Now slowly add dry ingredients into the oil-water mixture and mix well, ensuring no lumps are left.
Heat oil in a kadai and in the meantime, take the sev maker with desired disc. Grease the sev maker with oil and fill half with the dough. Once oil is hot, bring the sev maker over the oil and start making the noodles. Make noodles in circles so that they don’t stick together. Now reduce the heat to low-medium. Once sev become golden in color, take it out over the kitchen towel. After sev cools down completely, store it in air tight container.
