Haldi Ki Sabzi



250 gm Fresh Turmeric
300 gm Yoghurt
1/2 cup Peas
3/4 cup chopped Spring Onion
5 tbsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
2 tsp Red Chili powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
Salt to taste


Wash, peel and grate fresh turmeric. Heat ghee in a non stick pan and add cumin seeds. Now add spring onion and stir for 30 seconds. Then add peas and stir. Cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 2 minutes while stir in between. Now add grated turmeric and stir for 2 minutes. In a small bowl, add yoghurt, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well. Add this mixture in the pan, stir and cover the pan with lid and cook it until it leaves ghee while stir in between. Once it leaves ghee, it’s ready to serve. Serve it hot with Roti and add few drops of lemon juice for better taste.
