Bhindi Pyaaz Masala

Bhindi (Ladyfinger) is the most common vegetable and liked by most of the people. If you are getting bored of it, here is the recipe with another variation where along with onion it’ll taste very different and nice……….

Bhindi Pyaaz Masala

8-9 Ladyfingers
4-5 small size onions
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
3 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp Red Chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Chana masala
1 1/2 tbsp Oil

Trim the ladyfingers at both ends and make a slit on one side without cutting through. Remove the skin of onions and make half slit on both sides of onion by ensuring that you don’t cut the onion into pieces. In a small bowl, add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, 4 tbsp water and mix well. Heat oil in a kadai/pan and put cumin seeds into it. Now add masala mix, water and stir on high flame. When masala leaves oil then add ladyfinger and onion into it and mix well. Cover kadai/pan with plate and put 1 cup water in it and cook it. Keep checking in between that masala should not burn, if required add little water. When ladyfinger is cooked add chana masala and mix it slowly.  Your dish is ready, serve it hot.
