Perfect blend of traditional (Poha) and modern (Bread) breakfast flavours….. “Bread Poha”.

Bread Poha

Ingredients:

6 Bread Slices
1 Big size onion
1 medium sized tomato
1 tbsp Oil
10-12 Peanuts
5-6 Curry leaves
1 Green Chili
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Mustard seeds
2 tsp coriander powder
1 1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Coriander for Garnishing

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and fry peanuts. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and once it starts crackling, add curry leaves, 1 tbsp chopped green chili and saute. Then add sliced onion and saute till it turns golden. Add chopped tomato, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and saute again. Now add bread pieces (cut 1 bread into 6 pieces) and mix in a way that all bread pieces are well coated with spices. Bread Poha is ready, garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it hot.
